2025 Fundraising Gala for Chomedey MNA Sona Lakhoyan Olivier

According to a press release more than 300 guests gathered on October 19 at the Armenian Centre of Chomedey for the annual fundraising gala of Sona Lakhoyan Olivier, Member of the National Assembly (MNA) for Chomedey, organized by the Chomedey Liberal Association. The evening combined warmth, inspiration, and a strong sense of unity and generosity.
The event brought together citizens, community organizations, cultural leaders, and elected officials from all levels of government. Distinguished guests included Pablo Rodriguez, Leader of the Quebec Liberal Party, Virginie Dufour, MNA for Mille-Îles, Fayçal El-Khoury, MP for Laval–Les Îles, Josyanne Forest, Mayor of Saint-Jacques, and Aglaia Revelakis, Laval City Councillor for Chomedey.
From 5 p.m., attendees enjoyed a refined dinner accompanied by live music and engaging conversations. At 6 p.m., Sona Lakhoyan Olivier took the stage to deliver a heartfelt speech filled with emotion and authenticity, earning several rounds of applause.
Dressed in pink to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the MNA touched on several issues close to her heart including women’s health (breast cancer and menopause), education, local economy, and tourism, for which she serves as the Official Opposition Critic.
She expressed her gratitude for the privilege of serving the citizens of Chomedey and reaffirmed her commitment and passion for representing them. She concluded by warmly introducing the evening’s guest of honour, Pablo Rodriguez, describing him as “a leader who listens — one who brings hope and renewal.”
