Three Laval businesses were among the 24 companies recognized at the 2026 Entreprendre ici Bourses d’honneur gala, held September 24 at Théâtre Cartier in Montreal.

Inspecteasy, Novo Trafic and L’École fait du Bruit were the three Laval recipients selected this year.

The awards recognize businesses led by entrepreneurs from ethnocultural diversity across Quebec and provide financial assistance of up to $25,000, along with business development support.

Three Laval recipients

The three Laval organizations recognized were:

  • Inspecteasy
  • Novo Trafic
  • L’École fait du Bruit

They were part of a group of 24 recipients representing seven administrative regions of Quebec.

According to Entreprendre ici, the businesses were selected based on the quality of their business projects, their development potential and their contribution to Quebec’s economy.

“This new cohort reflects the richness, creativity and ambition of entrepreneurs from ethnocultural diversity,” said Ibrahim Kabore, executive director of Entreprendre ici.

He added that access to customers, financing and business networks remains an important part of supporting their growth.

More than $5 million awarded since 2018

The Bourses d’honneur program is supported financially by Quebec’s Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy.

Since 2018, Entreprendre ici says it has awarded 220 grants representing a total of $5.11 million.

The organization provides support and referrals to entrepreneurs from ethnocultural communities across Quebec and says its clientele comes from approximately 140 countries.

The 2026 gala was presented in collaboration with the Business Development Bank of Canada.
