Lime Relaunches Shared E-Scooters in Laval for Third Consecutive Year

Lime Canada officially relaunched its shared e-scooter service in Laval today, marking its third consecutive year of operation in the city. The company announced an expanded fleet of 500 scooters and a renewed emphasis on safe riding and proper parking two cornerstones of its approach in urban areas across Canada.
To celebrate the return, Lime is offering a 20% discount on two rides per user until May 31, using the promo code “Laval25” in the app’s “Promotions” section before starting a ride.
“Lime Canada is thrilled to be back in Laval for the third straight year,” said Sonia Kandola, Director of Government Relations. “We’re proud to offer a service that supports public transit, connects residents to small businesses, and helps students and workers move around affordably and sustainably.”
The company says it is responding to strong demand observed last year and sees Laval as a key market for micromobility in Quebec. Riders will again be encouraged to follow clear safety guidelines and use designated parking areas to ensure scooters are responsibly integrated into city spaces.
As warmer weather settles in, Lime’s fleet of electric scooters aims to offer a greener alternative for short-distance trips while reducing road congestion.
More details on how to ride and park properly are available in the Lime app.
