Laval Comiccon has announced new programming for its April 25 and 26 return at L’Enclav at Place Bell, as organizers expand the event’s anime, gaming and pop culture lineup ahead of the convention’s third edition. Tickets are already on sale for the two-day event, which will once again take place at 1950 Claude-Gagné Street in Laval.

According to a March 30 press release from organizers, this year’s additions include a KPOP LIVE HOMAGE stage show, with performances scheduled for Saturday, April 25 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m. The same release also announces a paid Huntrix Experience, offering fans autograph and selfie opportunities connected to the show’s theme.

The new programming builds on a convention that had already confirmed more than 100 retailers and artists, along with musical performances by the Orchestre à vents de musiques de films, better known as OVMF. Laval Comiccon’s official website and social media also confirm the event dates, the Place Bell venue and previously announced attractions tied to the 2026 edition.

Organizers are also promoting two featured guests newly highlighted in recent event material: Quebec actor and stuntman Mathieu Coderre, known for Scream VI, Reacher and We Are Zombies, as well as Quebec content creator Polo. Both are listed on the official guest page for autograph sessions during the weekend.

The March 30 release links part of this new programming to the international popularity of KPop Demon Hunters. The film recently won the 2026 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, while its song “Golden” won Best Original Song. Reuters also reported that the film had become Netflix’s most-watched film following its 2025 release.

Beyond the new K-pop additions, Laval Comiccon says visitors can expect returning staples such as cosplay activities, the Masquerade costume contest, a kids costume contest, a gaming zone hosted by Retro MTL and appearances by cosplay groups including the Quebec Imperial Fortress of the 501st Legion. The event will also feature classic arcade games, tabletop role-playing activities and vendor booths centered on comics, manga, toys, apparel and collectibles, according to the March 30 press release.

Admission starts at $10, while organizers say premium packages and limited paid experiences are also being offered. Full programming and ticket information are available through Laval Comiccon’s official website.
