Compass Group renews $130,000 commitment to Fondation du Collège Montmorency

The Fondation du Collège Montmorency has announced the renewal of its partnership with Compass Group Canada, through a contribution totalling $130,000 over 10 years.
According to a press release issued May 27, the renewed commitment represents $13,000 annually to support the student community at Collège Montmorency.
Compass Group has been a partner of the foundation since 1997, supporting various fundraising initiatives for nearly 30 years.
Support for student well-being
Part of the contribution will be directed toward addressing food insecurity among students, an issue the foundation says is affecting a growing number of people in the college community.
According to the foundation, the funding will help maintain food assistance services for students in need.
Stéphanie Oscarson, executive director of the Fondation du Collège Montmorency, said in the release that Compass Group’s long-standing support has allowed the foundation to take concrete actions that directly support student success and well-being.
Sylvie McDuff, district manager for Compass Group Canada’s Chartwells Colleges and Universities division, said the company is proud to continue its collaboration with the foundation and contribute positively to the Montmorency community.
