Liberal MP Angelo Iacono launches campaign for Alfred-Pellan

On Sunday, March 30, outgoing Liberal MP for Alfred-Pellan, Angelo Iacono, officially launched his campaign for the April 28, 2025 election. The event was held at his campaign headquarters located at 304 – 3131, Boulevard de la Concorde Est, and drew around 120 attendees, according to the organizers.

During this festive inauguration, Iacono expressed his gratitude to his family, friends, volunteers, and his entire campaign team for their steadfast support. He emphasized the importance of remaining connected with the citizens of Alfred-Pellan and affirmed his commitment to continue working on their behalf. In addressing current issues and electoral challenges, he reiterated his determination to take effective action on the ground, while also recalling the commitments of his party leader, Mark Carney.

According to the polling aggregator Canada 338, Iacono currently leads with 53 percent voter intention as of March 30, compared to 21 percent for his main rival from Bloc Québec, Isabel Dion, and 18 percent for Louis Ialenti of the Conservative Party.
