Laval’s celebration of cultural diversity is set to return this summer with one of its most ambitious editions yet.

Organizers of the Festival Mosaïque Laval unveiled the complete program for the festival’s sixth edition on June 9, announcing more than 25 free performances scheduled from August 13 to 15 at Centropolis.

Presented by La Centrale des artistes, the festival will once again transform Laval’s entertainment district into a gathering place for music, dance and cultural exchange through programming that blends established artists with emerging talent.

Among this year’s headliners are The Brooks, Naomi, La Bronze, Tallandskiinny, Kelly Bado and Laval-based artist Irdens Exantus.

Festival organizers describe the event as remaining true to its mission of offering an inclusive and festive experience where different artistic disciplines and cultural influences come together across multiple stages and satellite venues.

Thursday celebrates Laval talent

The festival opens on August 13 with the return of “Laval ou rien!”, a showcase dedicated to local artists and hosted by co-spokespersons Shah Frank and Naïma Frank.

The evening will feature performances by Sanza Percussions and Sadio Sissokho, Irdens Exantus, Claudia Lenti and her salsa fusion project, and the Royale Cypher collective led by DJ Horg.

Royale Cypher brings together performers Ruby Rizzle, Princess Thuggy$h, MCM, Sloan Lucas, Peach Gyal, Calamine, Sereni-T and Natty Soyha.

Thursday’s outdoor festivities conclude with Caribbean rhythms from Rafael & Energía Dominicana.

Friday and Saturday highlight global sounds

Friday’s program includes performances by Kelly Bado, La Bronze, Cameroonian slam poet Lydol and pop artist Adam El Mouna.

The evening culminates with a headline performance by The Brooks, the Montreal-based funk collective known for its energetic live shows.

Saturday’s lineup opens with Naomi before welcoming Haitian artist Durkheim, who will make what organizers describe as his first full-format appearance at a Quebec festival.

Audiences will also experience Nikamu Mamuitun – Chansons rassembleuses, a collaborative project bringing together Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists including Ivan Boivin-Flamand, Guillaume Arsenault, Sandrine Masse, Pako, Willows, Mariko and Luan Larobina.

Later in the evening, 2026 Juno Award winner Morgan Toney will take the stage with his signature blend of Mi’kmaq songs and Celtic folk.

The festival closes with FERVO, a collaborative performance created specifically for Mosaïque featuring Brazilian artists Bianca Rocha, Diogo Ramos, Lara Klaus and Galamba. The project combines elements of MPB, samba, funk, soul-pop and Afro-Brazilian rhythms.

New late-night programming

A major addition this year is Mosaïque la nuit, a new after-hours series presented in partnership with Le Balthazar.

From midnight until 2 a.m., festivalgoers can continue the celebrations with free DJ sets.

Tallandskiinny will headline Thursday night’s late programming, followed by DJ Taima on Friday and Canadian DJ Fafa Khan closing the festival on Saturday.

Organizers note that while admission is free, arriving early is recommended due to limited capacity.

Mosaïque à Momo returns

Festival organizers also announced the return of the Mosaïque à Momo satellite series, presented in partnership with the City of Laval at Station culturelle Momo near Place Bell.

Six free outdoor concerts are scheduled:

  • July 31: Orkestar Kriminal
  • August 7: Nesraf
  • August 14: Sonido Pesao
  • August 28: Anyma Ora’
  • September 4: Adib Alkhalidey
  • September 11: Wesli

All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

A growing cultural fixture in Laval

Since its creation, Festival Mosaïque has become one of Laval’s signature summer events, bringing together residents and visitors through free multidisciplinary programming that celebrates cultural diversity and artistic discovery.

The 2026 edition of Festival Mosaïque Laval will take place from August 13 to 15 at Centropolis. Additional activities and complementary programming are expected to be announced later this summer.
