The local final of the 47th edition of Cégeps en spectacle took place on December 6 at the Maison des arts de Laval, bringing together emerging student artists from Collège Montmorency.

A total of 22 performers presented their talents across 11 different acts. The top prize was awarded to Félix St-Jean, who stood out with two original vocal and musical performances. Accompanied by his guitar, St-Jean impressed the jury with his stage presence and charisma.

In addition to receiving a $350 scholarship from the Collège Montmorency Foundation, Félix St-Jean will represent Collège Montmorency at the Centre-Ouest Regional Final on March 14. The second place was awarded to Èva-Rose Lambert for her dance performance.

The Jacques Delisle Audience Choice Award was also presented to Félix St-Jean.

The organizers of Cégeps en spectacle thanked their local partners, including the Collège Montmorency Foundation, the Association générale des étudiantes et des étudiants de Montmorency, the Student Life Services, and the Maison des arts team.

Produced by the Réseau intercollégial des activités socioculturelles du Québec (RIASQ), Cégeps en spectacle is presented in partnership with Desjardins. The event is supported by the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications as well as the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport, offering young artists a platform to showcase their creativity and passion.
