Parti Laval Unveils Electoral Platform Ahead of November Municipal Election

With less that one week to go before the official launch of the municipal election campaign, Parti Laval – Équipe Larochelle has become the first political formation in Laval to present its electoral platform.
Titled “Responsible and Efficient, Starting Now”, the document outlines six key priorities the party says will guide its vision for Laval:
- A city serving residents and their well-being
- Safe, clean, and well-maintained neighborhoods
- Responsible finances and efficient administration
- Durable infrastructure to protect Laval and strengthen resilience
- Accessible, equitable, and fluid mobility
- A city that values culture, heritage, and language

According to Parti Laval leader and mayoral candidate Claude Larochelle, the goal of the platform is to “refocus municipal priorities on the real needs of residents” and provide what he describes as a more responsible approach to city management.
Parti Laval, which has formed the opposition at Laval city council since 2017, plans to release more detailed commitments for each of its six themes in the weeks ahead, followed by a complete program later this fall.
The party will face voters in the municipal election scheduled for November 2, 2025.
