The year 2025 is ending on a high note for St-Hubert Des Laurentides, as the franchise and its leadership received several distinctions highlighting their community involvement and local engagement.

On November 13, franchisee Alexandre Duquette was named Business Personality (35+) at the Gala Dunamis of the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who contribute to the development of Laval’s business community.

According to Duquette, receiving this distinction reflects the importance the team places on community involvement. He described the recognition as an honour that underscores their commitment to the region.

St-Hubert Des Laurentides also stood out at the Maillon d’Or Gala of the Conseil québécois de la franchise. On October 21, Alexandre Duquette and Sébastien Jean were recognized in the Community Engagement category for their social contributions. Jean noted that, in his view, a business has a role that extends beyond its walls and can act as a positive force in people’s lives.

Highlights of their community initiatives in 2025

The team carried out several local initiatives, including:

  • Preparing Christmas baskets for La Parentèle
  • Providing meals to volunteers at L’Endroit de Laval
  • Running the “Sharing Tree” project to offer gifts to children from low-income families
  • Donating more than 15,000 dollars this year to charities in Pont-Viau
  • Taking part in inclusive dining initiatives by integrating an autistic team member

  • Supplying all meals for young entrepreneurs during La Journée des petits entrepreneurs
  • Maintaining continuous involvement with the St-Hubert Foundation

The team was also selected for the Coup de cœur Award at the most recent St-Hubert convention.

As 2025 draws to a close, St-Hubert Des Laurentides’ leadership and staff are recognized for a year marked by strong community presence and sustained engagement.
