Smile Cookie Campaign Raises Over $79,000 for Laval-Based Enfant d’abord

From April 28 to May 4, participating Tim Hortons restaurants in Laval and surrounding areas joined forces to support families in need through the 2025 Smile Cookie Campaign. Each chocolate chunk cookie decorated with a cheerful smile and sold for $2 contributed directly to the cause. In total, 100% of the proceeds, an impressive $79,006.31, were donated to the local non-profit Enfant d’abord.
A Record-Breaking Result for a First-Time Partnership
This generous contribution will allow Enfant d’abord to expand its programs in three key areas:
- Food assistance: Maintaining its weekly distribution of full grocery baskets, totaling around 875 baskets per month.
- Urban agriculture workshops: Offering hands-on training to encourage food autonomy.
- Community gardens: Creating and maintaining shared gardens to promote social connection and solidarity.
The organization extended heartfelt thanks to Mr. Arzani, whose professionalism and dedication were described as pivotal to the success of this first-ever partnership with Tim Hortons.
“This experience has enriched, strengthened, and deeply touched us. Its impact will be felt in our gardens, our fridges, and in the smiles of the people we support every day. Until next year!”
