Electronics recycling drive launched at Cominar centres this spring

Source Cominar

In a continued celebration of Earth Day initiatives, Cominar Centres is hosting an electronics recycling drive at seven of its shopping centres for the third consecutive year. The campaign, run in collaboration with the Recycle My Electronics™ program, is designed to encourage the safe and secure recycling of unwanted electronic devices to minimize environmental impact.

“We believe that forging and maintaining green partnerships to address our customers’ environmental concerns is vital,” said Karine Rodrigue, Centropolis Marketing Director at Cominar. “Continuing to organize community events such as this one brings us closer to our community and encourages us all to take care of the planet for future generations.”

Residents are invited to participate by using the designated collection bins for unwanted gadgets while they tackle their spring cleaning. The initiative is part of Cominar’s broader commitment to promote sustainable practices among its patrons and reduce waste throughout its centres.
